Paediatric First Aid Training Courses for Nurseries and Early Years Teaching Staff
First Aid for Nurseries and Early Years – This two day course will provide all practitioners with the confidence to deal with emergencies involving the children in their care. It is suitable for teachers, child minders, nursery practitioners, pre-school and after school club staff and staff at residential children’s homes.
First Aid for Nurseries and Early Years
This two-day Paediatric First Aid training course is designed for people working with children, especially those under 8. It meets the requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS). On completion candidates are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.
We also offer the 1 Day Paediatric First Aid Basic course but this course does not meet the OFSTED requirements.

Paediatric First Aid London are sensitive to these problems and structure our training modules to your requirements with our training delivered with your Staff and Children in mind. We regularly bring the courses to our clients’ own workplace thus causing as little disruption as possible, this also makes the course cost effective as no travelling costs are incurred by yourselves.

The ‘Children Act 1989 Guidance and Regulations’ states:
2.50. Registered providers need to ensure that their staff have the relevant skills and knowledge to be able to meet the health needs of children and young people, administer basic first aid and minor illness treatment, provide advice and support and where necessary meet specific individual health needs arising from a disability, chronic condition or other complex needs. At least one person on duty in a children’s home must have a suitable first aid qualification.
